Why aren there any drinking fountains in UK airports and shopping Malls?

I think we in the UK consider drinking fountains to be unsafe, unhygenic and dirty things and don’t go near them for fear of getting some kind of illness or disease. So we would rather buy a bottle of water than using a drinking fountain not knowing who used it before us you don’t know what kind of person used the fountain before you no I would rather get ripped off by paying for over priced water than getting some kind of disease.
