Medieval Martial Arts – medievalmartialarts.co.uk – is a school or English Martial Arts that is dedicated to teaching sword (swordmanship) and quarterstaff, along with barefist boxing, sword and dagger, sword and buckler, bill hook, axe etc.

They are still practiced, but to a much lesser degree and with a much lesser degree of ‘fame’ than the Japanese or Chinese arts. Fencing clubs however are still widespread using European styles of swordsmanship with European blades such as a Rapier. Sword styles using Broadswords or Archers swords for example do exist, such as ARMA, a lot are affiliated with numerous battle reenactment groups but they are Martial Arts clubs and disciplines in there own right.
