Why aren’t the major automakers using Pulstar® pulse plugs?
An Automaker such as Ford or Volkswagen takes a very long time to certify any new technology that impacts the engine platform, on the order of 4-7 years. As such, new technologies that are readily installed by competent mechanics show up in the performance aftermarket well before they are adopted by the automakers. The same is true for Pulstar® pulse plugs as they are currently being tested by a number of automakers.
