Why aren the flat diapers a conventional size?

0

Firefly Flat Diapers are two layers of French terry knit, a much heavier weight fabric than woven gauze or muslin used in traditional flat diapers, which are made of lightweight, gauzy fabrics. Firefly Flat Diapers are much closer to prefolds in weight and can be folded in all of the ways prefolds can be. The sizes also fit together well with smaller flat diapers as doublers for the larger diapers. When we began making these many years ago, flat diapers like these were more common and these were the standards sizes, which probably follows from the sizes of prefolds.
