Why aren the custom hair and clothes working for my Sims 2?
Make sure you have the meshes for them. If you only have the colors without the mesh, it doesn’t display properly. If you downloaded them from the Sims 2 website, they often don’t include the mesh. And there’s no way of getting it, other than hunting it down on other 3rd party download sites (which is more effort than its worth, since there is no way to search for any particular mesh). If you downloaded them from a third party site, they often include the mesh with it, but its usually in the form of a separate download link. Go back to the sites and look for a link to download the meshes. Once downloaded, go to My Computer and move them to EA Games>The Sims 2>Downloads.
