Why aren the Cameraflyers blown off the side of the plane?
Most side door jump aircraft are equipped with extra handles and steps on the exterior of the aircraft. This allows some jumpers, usually Cameraflyers, to crawl outside just before the exit, freeing the door space for their teammates for the best possible exit. The forward airspeed is typically 90-110MPH, so is rather strong if you move against it forward of the door (and people have blown off before) but crawling out to the rear is relatively easy and, besides, its lots of fun.
