There is only a very limited time window for roost-counting, and most roost locations are unknown for the majority of species. Therefore, systematic roost counting of a reasonable number of species, would require considerably more resources and organization than is possible, and certainly couldnt be done alongside the current Atlas project. Maybe something for the future.
