Why aren puppy mills illegal?
OK, well, your first question is a good one, I’ll start there. Puppy mills ARE illegal. The problem is they happen on private property and the government (INCLUDING OBAMA) aren’t allowed to randomly go on other’s property and take animals. It’s called illegal search and seizure. Read something called THE CONSTITUTION and you’ll know. Obama has other things to think about. The economy is crashing down around us. That means AMERICA IS DYING. He’s a little busy trying to stop the bleeding and save the world as we know it. If America dies, we’ll be taken over by other countries. Other countries don’t care one bit about animals. Look how China treats strays and unwanted animals. Not pretty.
Puppy mills are allowed in certain states because in those states the dogs are considered as life stock. Take this for example, when you go to a chicken farm you see a lot of chickens in small cages, and that is considered legal. THis is the same with dogs. Because they are considered live stock then can be treated like farm animals. They are treated no different than chickens or cows or any other type of farm animal in rural states. By the way puppy mills are horrible places and there is not excuse for what they are doing.
Here in Australia, the RSPCA is always running campaigns to have puppy mills deemed illegal. But I think the Governments look at them the same as chicken farms. Did you know that a “Free Range” Chicken egg, means it came from a chicken that could turn around in it’s nesting box. It doesn’t need to be able to get out and walk around, just turn around. Same diff I guess.
