Why aren pools open at night?
Partly because of manpower issues — the hotel doesn’t want to have to pay for a lifeguard to watch over the couple of people who choose to stay poolside when everyone else has migrated to the casino — plus, the property would generally prefer you to be spending your money at one of its indoor dining or entertainment options than taking a dip in the hot tub. Exceptions include the Tropicana’s indoor pool, which is open 24 hours during the winter months, and the Greek Isles pool, which is open 24/7 year-round.
