The list of allied health service providers is based on the lists used by the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and the More Allied Health Services (MAHS) program. Pharmacists are not included on those lists because they receive government funding through other programs. Pharmacists can be included in the Panels Initiative, but Divisions must seek written approval from their STO. Divisions should be aware of Residential Medication Management Review (RMMR) payments that are available to Pharmacists under the 4th Community pharmacy agreement (CPA) when considering ideas for pharmacists to ensure there is no duplication of funding. Question: Our Division requires the services of an allied health service provider/other health care provider which is not listed on page 3 of the Program guidelines. Will the Department consider requests to include providers not listed? Answer: The Department will consider applications for health care providers not listed to be included on local Panels arrangeme
