The time spent developing a website should be rather small compared to the amount of time spent promoting that website. What does website promotion mean? It means having a strategy to let people know that your great website, out of millions of others, is a site they should visit to get information, solve their problems, or to buy things! But properly promoted you can generate internet sales leads! These are great leads too, because they come from consumers who were interested enough to visit your website, and then take the extra step of trying to contact you. This contact may come from filling out a lead form, sending an email, or even picking up the telephone to call you!
