Why aren episodes of Battlestar Galactica available on iTunes?
It’s not on iTunes because the Sci-Fi Channel is owned by NBC, and NBC decided to pull all of its shows off of iTunes because Apple would not let them charge more than $2 an episode for downloads, and NBC also wanted Apple to put more restrictive DRM on the shows. So, now your only option is to download the shows illegally from someplace like MiniNova.org, or try to get into the beta of Hulu.com, NBC/Fox’s new only TV show site. But, they have a very limited selection and you still have to watch commercials. Not to mention you can’t save the files or put them on your iPod or other device, you can only watch them in your web browser on your computer. Awesome huh? NBC sucks.
