Why aren`t cameras being put outside schools?
Cameras are a last resort in getting motorists to drive more carefully and responsibly. Engineering measures like lower speed limits, speed humps, changing priorities etc. tend to be used outside schools. Safety cameras can only be used at locations that have a history of casualties and where other traffic calming measures have been considered, tried and failed.
