Why aren’t all of the payments sent to merchants electronically?
While we are working diligently to pay as many merchants by electronic means as possible, the truth is that not all merchants are willing or able to receive, or capable of processing electronic payments. For these merchants we must send a physical check. Be assured that every merchant is contacted at least once (by phone or mail) to see if they will accept electronic transmissions of payments.
