Why are Youth Leader Networks promoted/necessary?
The average primary Youth Leader in a church will last approximately 20 months before they quit, are fired, or are simply burned out to the point of being ineffective. Again…that is the AVERAGE leader. We think that is sad, because Youth Leaders are some of the most important people walking the planet! But in most situations, Youth Leaders are expected to have the wisdom of a 70 year old and energy level of a 13 year old…which simply isn’t how it works. Furthermore, a lot of Youth Leaders are lonely for peers who share their passion for God and Teens…but are too busy to meet other Leaders who serve in other similar ministries. We all need affirming relationships and encouragement from peers who are in a similar season of ministry life! We believe that Youth Leaders who love God and love kids should be receiving encouragement and training on a regular basis. We pray that God will use any and all local networks as an effective tool in the process of helping Youth Leaders connect wi
