Why are women politicians scoffed at around the world?

I don’t know about politicians per se, but I do know that there are several women presidents around the world. It seems to me that if they were scoffed at then they wouldn’t have gotten as far as they have. Check this website out. The first one are women presidents and the next one are women prime ministers. No scoffing there if you ask me.
