Why are Wimpy Burgers only found at airports and service stations?
in the 60s and 70s wimpy burgers were all over england not many towns did not have one of these outlets if you remember popeye the sailor man wimpy wa a character that was all ways eating burgers and as such the name was all ways associated in england with burgers trouble was they were not that good so when McDonald’s entered the market in england the writing was on the wall for wimpy and they went in to decline then burger king came on the scene that was curtains for wimpy in england as for the outlets in airports and service stations do not know about them as i have never seen them but for them to survive then they must have improved their product as what was on offer in the past was Just a substandard product wendy burgers were far better than wimpy and they are still going strong
