Why are Website prices different than in store prices?
There are many reasons why online prices are lower than in store prices. The cost of running a physical retail store is much more costly than an online store. There are several online-only hydroponic stores that don’t actually have a physical location and are drop shipping from vendors, which greatly reduces their overhead. In store you get to see and touch the products and get the benfit of our trained advice and help. Online you not only don’t get those benefits but you also pay for shipping and have to wait for your products. Furthermore, if there is a problem with an item you buy online you have to pay the shipping back to us. We maintain the same great return policy for both online and in store purchases but online returns will cost you more and you will have a longer wait time. In order to run an online store we have to compete with people who have a website store only, know nothing about the products they sell, won’t take returns and have nonexistent customer service.
