Why are we trying to send people to Mars when there are starving people on Earth?
There have always been starving people and probably will always be starving people. If they can’t grow food, then they should not live there, or earn enough money to buy food. Some of those people have never known any other life and accept it and do not care to change it by themselves. They depend on someone else to feed them, and I know for a fact that many Americans voluntarily give money to help the cause every month. We send food, medicine, volunteers and doctors there to help along with Millions of dollars to buy them the things that they need. But the problem still exists and doesn’t seem to be getting much better. They still reproduce beyond their means and disease is still running rampid. If your son was exceling in school, would you have him held back because one or two children couldn’t pass the grade? No, I don’t think so. We don’t skip going on vacation, because the neighbors can’t afford the same vacation. We live our lives and try to help those as best we can.
