Why are we switching from WebCT?
There are many reasons for the switch from WebCT to ANGEL. Recently WebCT was purchased by Blackboard, a competing course managment systems (CMS). During the process WebCT has undergone some major changes in its price structure and emphasis. After investigating various CMS, the Faculty Technology Center recommended that Westminster College make the switch to ANGEL. ANGEL has a simpler interface, a more powerful toolset, more attractive design, and is significantly cheaper. The ANGEL CMS also comes packaged with an electronic portfolio tool which the college will be using to assess student learning.
