Why are we playing on FieldTurf instead of real grass?
Only the championship games (Open, Mixed, Women’s) will be held on Fieldturf, because Sunday’s games will be held at the newly redone Molson Stadium. Many stadiums across Canada and the United States have converted their natural grass or astroturf fields to FieldTurf. Teams who qualify for the finals will have an opportunity to practice on FieldTurf on Sunday before their final games.
