Most of the librarys operating funding comes from Strathcona County tax revenues, with some additional funding from the Provincial Government, and a small amount from the Federal Government. In order to provide the quality services and programs that County residents deserve, the library must raise additional revenue. Public dollars provide quality, and private dollars determine the margin of excellence. The money raised by the library will have a direct effect on library users’ experiences: coffee kiosk; open, accessible stacks; and comfortable seating.
