Why are viruses considered to be non-living?
There are seven life processes that all need to be satisfied in order to classify an object as living: The object must: 1) Feed 2) Grow 3) Move 4) Respire ( Respiration is a chemical reaction that occurs in a cell) 5) Sense 6) Reproduce 7) Excrete A virus only replicates or reproduces when it enters a foreign body. It only moves when inside a foreign body. It doesn’t really do any of the other processes.
