Why are video games bad for children?
1 They can be considered bad for children because children are easily influenced. They don’t always understand right from wrong, or fiction from reality. #2 It has been linked to obesity. Children who play video games exercise less. #3 It can affect children socially. They might not care to spend time with friends. These are just some ideas. The first would be your strongest; perhaps you could break it up into three different ideas if you don’t like the others.
Here’s a list of some reasons: -Video games are not censored well and can expose children to things unaccustomed to their age (you know what I mean) -Video games can ruin a child socially, since their hobby can quickly become an obsession and keep them from spending time with their peers. -Video games are not educationally referenced and can therefore can steer a child a child away from their focus on academics. Although these views may seem a bit extreme, they can happen, especially to children who have a TV or console in their own room.
