Why are vascular and nonvascular spore-producing plants important?

0

Spore-producing plant means a seedless plant because they produces by spores not seeds. So the importance is that seedless plants makes coal and peat over time from ancient seedless plants. Also non-vascular seedless plants help build new soil. And lastly seedless vascular plants can be used as a source of food! the rhizomes and young fronds of some ferns are edible. The dried stems of one type of horsetails can be ground into flour. Seedless plants have also been used as medicines for hundreds of years. I got this all from my science textbook so it’s 100% right!
