Why are used big luxury cars like BMW 7 series, audi A8, merc S class etc cheap?
Hello Did you know that at the moment there are 20 insurance groups and the Audi 8 is group 17 to 20 depending on spec? Soon there will be 50 and the higher groups will be more expensive but the cars will be more equal in there groups. The bigger cars normally mean lower mileage Per Gall, Audi 8 start at 21 MPG However up to a certain size engine I think is better to pull the car easier with less strain. My Vectra starts at 30 MPG Road Tax can be another reason I have a 2.0 Vectra Automatic as it is a Pre 2001 over 1545cc it costs me £190 a year Road Tax Your Audi A8 will be the same unless it is Post 2001 in which case you will be better off by £30-£40 a year.
