Why are uniforms good or bad for public schools?
Good: – They have been proven to help in inner-city schools with morale and grades – Teaches students to express their individuality through their personalities versus their clothing – Too many students dress like tramps these days lol, teaches them to dress professionally Bad: – Uniforms can actually be more expensive for some families then not having uniforms – If not done properly, they can look worse then students normal clothes (mismatched etc) – Teachers start to have to watch what students are wearing to make sure they are wearing the proper uniform instead of just teaching.
