Why are TSSA balloting before the end of the 60-day consultation period?

Our dispute is with Network Rail. The consultation is done on behalf of the Trustees on proposals put to them by Network Rail. You can use the 60-day consultation period as opportunity to register your opposition, and we recommend that you do. However we believe these proposals will only be defeated if we can get Network Rail to change its mind. Hence, the need for a strike ballot.
