Why are trees important to the forest?

0

They are the forest. The trees in a forest make oxygen in exchange for carbon dioxide which therefore supports forest life such as mammals, reptiles, and birds. They assist in the production and extension of forest lines by providing compost and seeds. They prevent soil erosion and washouts. The forest is hub for life. Without trees, the shelter in the forest, there would be little life in deciduous areas.
