Why are transcontinental p.s.® flights excluded from Unlimited Domestic Upgrades?
We view our p.s. flights as distinct from the rest of our domestic flights. The seats and onboard products are more in line with international flight offerings, leading those flights to book differently than traditional domestic flights, particularly in the premium cabins. In light of this unique product and customer demand, we have decided to exclude p.s. from Unlimited Domestic Upgrades. You may continue to use Mileage Plus Upgrade Awards, Systemwide Upgrades or Regional Upgrades on these flights.
