as sunday is an off peak day and they tend to have a lot of engineering works on then to so they tend to restrict the sale of advance purchase tickets on a sunday and only sell the basic saver returns, plus as that many people normally travel it would be impossible for people to stick to their reserved seats that come compulsory with advance purchase tickets
