Why are these home makeover people so obsessed with candles?
As mentioned by all of the above – I would like to add that DIY electrical wiring is not a good idea – unless you are a certified electrician – so – one possibility is that when they test run the electical system – it shorted and so to hide the burnt spots on the walls or ceiling – and to hide the burnt plastic smell – they light up many candles in various spots of the house – often in areas which needs no light such as inside the fire place, on the floor or dangerously near flamable plastic shrubs.
