Why are there three (3) wheels in stead of four (4)?
There a several important reasons for this. 1.) Rolling resistance; three wheels create less rolling resistance than four thus improving mileage. 2.) Aerodynamics; less drag is created with the sweeping rear body design improving mileage and efficiency. 3.) Freedom of design; as a three (3) wheeled trike is classed as a motorcycle by the U.S. Government.
