Why are there so many questions about spanking in the parenting section?
You looked at my latest question, didn’t you? LOL! Actually, the reason why there are so many questions about spanking here in the Parenting section is because the spanking debate continues to be the most controversial and passionate thing ever discussed on the topic of parenting. There have been disagreements among couples and family members as to whether or not to spank their children for misbehavior, especially when such advice comes unsolicited either way. Many strangers, parent and non-parent alike, have engaged in arguments that have gotten heated and dramatic to the points where it sometimes has gotten physical. (I would not be surprised.) It is a debate that will never go away, and people will never come to a full agreement on – which may or may not tear the country apart. I just hope nothing too drastic happens. Discipline is a part of parenting, therefore I wouldn’t agree with a separate section.
