Why are there so many questions about periods and pregnancy?

The thing is, at school all we were taught was about how a typical 28 day cycle works, and that ovulation always occured on day 14. This is not the case for the majority of women so threefore a lot of women are asking for advice on their own personal cycle, not the one we were taught 10 years ago in some classroom. Likewise I was never taught about possible factors that might affect fertiltiy- lots of women are asking for support on this. I think this is a very rude question. You’re showing that you must be the thick one if you think all cycles conform to the one you were taught about at school, and are showing a woeful ignorance of the working of the human body. If you don’t like the questions don’t read the TTC section.
