Why are there so many choices for a part for a Honda engine or Honda power eqipment?
Honda makes many variations of their engines and equipments. Some of the major differences between the engine and equipment variations are the crankshafts, air cleaners, carburetors, camshafts, mufflers, starters, and governor controls. Many of these parts do not interchange. For example, there are over 100 variations of the GX390 engines and over 10 different carburetors used. To determine the correct parts, all the engine or equipment numbers should be obtained.
