Why are there separate freight charges for jewelry vs. merchandise?
This is done to save you money! Jewelry items are generally more expensive, and since freight is determined by a percentage of your total dollar order, in the case of jewelry, youd be paying a lot to ship a relatively small and lightweight item. So, we consider jewelry separately, and charge a reduced shipping amount to pass you the savings and more accurately reflect the shipping cost.
