Why are there seasons on earth?
There are seasons on Earth because the rotation and the distance of the Earth around the Sun. The Earth rotates and moves making a compete circle around the Sun in a year time. When a geographical area on Earth is having a summer it means that the geographical area is closer to the sun at that time. When the earth rotates and turns further away winter occurs at that geographical area.
