Why are there Right and Left BaySaver Systems and what is the difference?
The BaySaver Separation System consists of two manholes (the primary and the storage) and a separator unit. The terms right and left are in reference to which side of the separator unit the storage manhole is located if one were looking downstream through the separator unit. The units are designed as rights and lefts to allow engineers a greater degree of freedom when specifying a BaySaver in a stormwater plan. For example, John Deere, P.E. is an engineer who is designing a stormwater system. On his plan he sees that there is a sewer line running along one side of his easement. Because the BaySaver can be built with the storage manhole on either side, adding it to the stormwater plan in relation to the sewer line will not be a problem for John. Please feel free to submit a question. A BaySaver Team Member will promptly answer your question directly and chances are that it will be added to the site.
