WHY ARE THERE NO ’FORMAL’ PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES JUST AFTER REPORT CARDS ARE GIVEN OUT?

The ‘Formal’ parent-teacher conferences occur mid term BEFORE the report cards are sent home. Here, you and your child’s teacher discuss your child’s learning : what is going well and how can home and school further support your child. There should be no surprises about how your child is doing. Once having read the report card and you still have questions, the next step would be to make an appointment with the teacher or a phone call to clarify your concerns.

What is your question?
