Why are there no dances north of Salt Lake City?
We find that the Salt Lake area is a nice middle place for Utah and Davis Counties. Each dance is very expensive to sponsor, thus we use locations that we are most familiar with in the Salt Lake/Utah County area of the Wasatch Front. Our employees reside in Utah County and are not willing to travel an additional hour or two. Not many realize that we arrive 2 – 4 hours before the beginning of the dance to get everything ready, making most dance nights 6 – 8 hours long for our staff. We ourselves do not get home many nights until after 3 am and to go further north would place additional hardships on our great staff. This also applies to other areas we have had requests for to hold dances (St. George and Las Vegas).
