If you have purchased a new computer with Macromedia Flash 6.x or have upgraded your existing Flash to 6.x, and you attempt to install the SBC Yahoo DSL software (Client Kit 3.1 or 2.0), the installation will fail due to being incompatible with Flash 6.x. The opening screen is gray (no buttons, text or video). The workaround is to “downgrade” Flash to 5.x. Follow these instructions: •Click the X in the upper right hand corner(close the window) •A window pops up warning that you selected exit and the installation will not be properly setup. Click EXIT. •Open “Windows Explorer”. •Navigate to the CD-Rom drive and go to the SETUP\Flash folder. •Click on the file flash.exe. •A window will pop up and ask if you want to install Flash 5 Active X control. Select Yes and after the Installation is complete select ok at the prompt. You should be able to run the SBC Yahoo DSL CD with no problems after this. SBC is aware of this problem and is already working on updating ad distributing new CDs. htt
