Why are there more male murderers?
That is actually a common misconception. There tend to be more men who have killed for sexually sadistic reasons, but there actually have been women who have done this as well. Typically, women are harder to catch as they tend to use poison and dispose of bodies in different ways than male killers. There are some very good books out about female serial killers, and even a show on Ivestigation Discovery called “Deadly Women”. It might surprise you to learn how many female serial killers there have been and how gruesome some of their crimes actually were. There are many motivations for murder. There have even been some very notorious cases of children murdering, and these stories may surprise you even more than the female killers. It’s just that no one suspects a child.
