With increasing data set and/or lower screen resolution the available place becomes smaller and smaller, and individual date inscriptions overlap each other (in extreme cases up to illegibility). To avoid this, date inscriptions are omitted sometimes due to threatening overlap. Since month lengths vary this can lead to irregular gaps.
