Why are there falling birth rates in MEDCs and LEDCs?

0

Well first you have to look at what causes High Birth rates? Economic, Health, Cultural and social factors all intertwine together. Basically countries get richer, they improve education, they get better health care, children stop dying young, no need to have soo many children, you can stop working on the farm, you dint need SO many children to help you farm, it becomes the cultural norm to not have SO many children, instead you focus on quality of life. Education makes people aware about the benefitfit of not having soo many children etc. They learn to respect women more and as a result birth rates decrease. Refer to the demographic Transition Model.
