Why are there different breeds of cat?

0

Well there are lots of reasons, very similar to dogs. They all have different temperaments, just like dogs. Some prefer to be held and cuddled, and some are very independent. Some cats love being outdoors, and some would prefer being safer indoors. There are different sizes and energy levels to suit everybody. I could go on forever! Most reasons there are different breeds are the same as dogs. As for what you need to look for if purchasing a cat, you will need a cat that will be okay on it’s own if you are out for long periods of time. You will also need to find a cat that will be friendly towards anybody it may come into contact with. Mainly, if you’re looking for a cat, it’s what kind of cat you prefer, because not all cats of the same breed will have the same temperament. For example, ragdoll cats are said to be one of the most laid back cat, but there can also be some ragdolls that would prefer to be left alone. I hope I could help you!!
