Why are there air bubbles coming through the cleaning heads?

Leak at suction side of pump. Pump lid may not be on right, dirt might be stuck between the o ring of the lid and the pump housing, take lid off, inspect the o ring and put it back on and tighten, hand tighten only. Pool water level too low, skimmer is constantly sucking air. Skimmer weir door stuck. Leak at pump is causing it to drain down when system is shut off, causing air to get into system, when system starts back up again, there is lots of air stuck that has to be forced out of the filter. Sometimes the air stays in the filter and if you don’t bleed it out, when system shuts off, the built up of pressure inside the filter causes the water to burst back out of the skimmer. If this happens and your not there to prime the pump, you pump is going to run dry, and burn out!
