Why are there a woman and a man skin care if the range is unisex?
Creams are gendered for cultural reasons. While men’s skin shows some differences: thicker, richer in sebaceous glands, more vascular… there are no specific ingredients that would be better for man than for woman. Men are looking for effective products with light and mattifying texture… just as women! But culturally, some ingredients may seem too feminine (rose, chamomile, helychrisum, neroli etc.) and/or with odors that do not match their likes. This is why we chose to create La Crème de l’Homme (man skincare) sharing the same hydrating, regenerating and anti-ageing virtues than La Crème du Jour (women skincare) but with different ingredients and so a different scent.
