Why are there a lot of documents in the ADMIN4.NSF that do not go away after seven days?
The ADMIN4.NSF database contains workflow that is designed to be managed. Many processes require administrators to approve workflow, while others simply provide information that may be of interest or use. These workflow documents are protected from removal until they are properly processed using the actions or buttons provided in the database. Check the Pending by Age view to determine if you have old documents in the database. The Domino Administrator Help provides a table of all processes that require administrator action (“Administration Process requests that require the administrator’s approval”). If the requests are extremely old and you know they do not need to be processed, you can delete them.
