Healing Salve I contains essential oils that may cause irritation to some horses. Although most horses are fine with this salve, Healing Salve II was created for our sensitive friends. Thin-skinned chestnuts and grey/whites tend to be more reactive to the essential oils in Healing Salve I. Healing Salve II contains no essential oils and is also suitable to be used on the thin skin of a horse’s face.
